There are also sellers listed on Ebay that offer this service if you have the bin file. I can make an updated V1.11 eprom for your M-1000. Basically you don't care how long it takes to send a bank of patches as long as the M-1000 can write them to ram. ![]() Sometimes buffers as small as 32 or 64 bytes are needed with 100 milliseconds or more delay between buffers. Slow down the transfer with delays and use smaller buffers by configuring the sysex option. I use Midi-Ox in windows to send sysex banks. ![]() This alone will result in incomplete banks and corrupted patches. The better USB midi interfaces are built for speed and can easily send too much data for the Matrix to handle. I'm not sure about your particular editors with PC's or Mac's but I have a lot of issues with using todays faster PC's to send sysex to my older synths. ![]()
